With the #Green4Europe Hackathon Series, we’re providing space for people who are passionate about making a difference to innovate together – to find sustainable solutions with the help of professional mentorship, access to international partner networks and on-site expert support. We’re connecting sustainability innovators across Europe and you’re invited!

Who are we looking for?

The #Green4Europe Hackathon Series is here to bring together tomorrow's creators, leaders and change-makers. We connect data and tech sustainability projects beyond borders: in Georgia, Ukraine and Germany.

• anyone with a skillset who is interested in creating positive social impact!

If you have a laptop, an internet connection and a willingness to create social impact, we want to hear from you! Our hackathons are best when people from diverse backgrounds apply so we can create project teams with interdisciplinary backgrounds. Invite your friends and colleagues to get involved!

What will you do?

Whether you made it to one of the previous episodes or not, now is the time to join forces and support the 6 winning teams to win the final hackathon on December 8th, 2021.

Georgia

• 1st place: Ringo Vet - an app that provides easy access to veterinary first aid for dogs in collaboration with a local electric scooter service
• 2nd place: TeckLink - an online professional networking, recruitment matchmaking and educational learning platform aimed at tackling the 18.5% unemployment rate in Georgia 
• 3rd place: Noisure - a project aimed at using data visualisation to monitor noise pollution levels in city areas 

Ukraine

• 1st place: Scooby Doo - a comprehensive communication campaign, chatbot and interactive map to promote an eco-conscious attitude to hometown cleanliness
• 2nd place: Dvichi - an online, educational marketplace for textiles and recycling that includes fabric waste from manufacturers and consumers, for ukrainian sustainable fashion designers, sales and services
• 3rd place: Hybrid Solar Illumination - a new method of indoor lighting using natural sunlight,  based on the processes of generation, concentration and transmission of solar energy.  

The day is yours to get creative and utilize the skill-set in your team to produce new and innovative tech solutions to real world issues that affect Georgia, Ukraine and Germany. The sky is your limit!

The application deadline is 48h before each hackathon begins. Once we’ve received your application we’ll shortly reply and then help to match teams according to participant skill-sets.
