Supply chain transparency is rapidly becoming a priority for global companies and brands. Many industries have a significant social and environmental footprint, which applies across all stages of the product life cycle. Consumers are demanding more information on topics such as ethical labour regulation, environmental impact and sustainability. Current tech solutions need to be further developed to meet those needs.
My motivation for taking part was to challenge myself and to get out of the daily routine to contribute to working on a philanthropic cause that end up helping people. TABITHA SWANSON - Zalando Volunteer, #HackSCT18

This is the second hackathon of our #HackSCT19 Series, designed to connect impact driven Ventures with industry experts from adidas AG, Deutsche Bahn AG, Volkswagen Group, Zalando SE, and the N3XTCODER tech for impact community.
In the series of three hackathons in 2019 we build powerful interdisciplinary teams that work on real challenges that contribute towards more sustainable patterns of consumption. The opacity of the supply chain is a major issue for brands and companies. Consumers are demanding more information on topics such as ethical labour regulation and environmental impact and the status quo cannot provide this.
We reviewed more than 100 pitch decks and Supply Chain Transparency startups to invite the most promising impact-driven ventures for our #HackSCT19 Series. Together we inspire global companies to improve their supply chains and open the doors for social innovation. With our experience in building exceptional teams, we match you to the venture who needs your skills to reach the next level!
