We have shipped this for a leading donation platform on n8n and Azure OpenAI – currently in pilot, with mandatory human review built into the workflow from day one.
A leading donation platform is the worked example. The platform redistributes new, unsold goods from companies to non-profits – their inbox is full of supply offers, demand requests and logistics questions, and a small operations team has to triage all of it. We built an AI email agent that classifies inbound mail, drafts replies and routes them for mandatory human review before anything is sent. Built on N8N and Azure OpenAI, currently in pilot.
The same pattern works for member enquiries to an association, customer support intake at a small company, donation processing at a non-profit, or any inbox where the cost of getting the answer wrong is real.

AI does not replace your operators or experts. It removes the lookup and drafting work. The judgement call stays with a human.
Mandatory human review for outbound communication. Anything that goes to a customer, member or beneficiary should be drafted by AI and signed off by a human.
Hallucination is the failure mode to design against. Grounded RAG with citations, not free-text generation. If a system cannot cite its source, treat its answer as a guess.
